Mike Marshall

Hello Thoreau family! Thanks for stopping by the wall of fame to learn a little bit more about the team at Thoreau which I have recently become a part of. I was born and raised in Maynard, MA and I am proud to share that I have been a lifelong member here at Thoreau. Attending summer camp, learning to swim and how to play tennis are just a few experiences I have had here. I graduated from Bryant University with a B.S in Business Administration and competed for 4 years as a member of the Bryant Baseball team. Some of my favorite memories come from the long travel days for away games, visiting places I otherwise wouldn’t have visited; Oregon and Louisiana to name a few. Although my baseball career is over, I can still be found attempting to remain athletic in our awesome fitness facility or on the courts resurrecting my tennis career. I’m always open and willing to take on any challengers! In my free time, I love all things sports. I enjoy going to as many Red Sox games as I can, and whenever playoffs come to town, I make it a priority to attend. A lifetime goal of mine is to attend a game at all 30 Major League Ballparks. My newest hobby I have taken up is wine-making. Every so often I like to try my hand at something new. Prior to working for Thoreau, I worked as a manager at Target. I met some amazing people and learned an immense amount about customer service. I am excited to start this new endeavor at Thoreau and look forward to getting to know each and every one of you.
