For many families with school-aged children, before and after-school or camp programming has become a necessity.

Summer’s Edge at Camp Thoreau’s Extended Day program gives caregivers the extra time they need to accomplish more in their day. Campers benefit from extended time with our fantastic staff, and are kept engaged with games, arts & crafts, stories and more!

Extended Day AM & PM

Extended Day (AM)

Held outdoors in front of the camp administrative building.

  • 7:30 AM – 8:45 AM
  • Mini Camp: $60/session ($36/Session 2)
  • Full-Day Camp: $115/session ($92/Session 1)

Extended Day (PM) – Full-Day Camp Only*

Based in our camp administrative building, afternoon Extended Day may be held in our large, air-conditioned function hall or outdoors on the grounds surrounding the building.

  • 3:45 PM – 5:30 PM
  • $225/session ($175/Session 1)

Combo (AM & PM) – Full-Day Camp Only

  • 7:30 AM – 8:45 AM / 3:45 PM – 5:30 PM
  • $290/session ($261/Session 1)

Single Day Rates

Subject to availability, campers may utilize AM or PM Extended Day on an as-needed basis. Registration is required and must be completed at least 12 hours in advance.
