Membership Sales

Job Description

The Thoreau Club is actively seeking a full-time Membership Sales Associate. Membership Sales Associates are key members of The Thoreau Club Team and contribute to the growth of the Club's membership base. They guide individuals and families through The Thoreau Club Member Experience, leading to participation in health, sports, and wellness programs that support their individual goals. Sales staff actively create brand exposure and community involvement to increase interest in The Thoreau Club as the top-of-mind provider in our market. The purpose of this role is to maximize membership sales and create brand awareness as a local premium health and wellness provider.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Experience with health club software is a plus

Group Fitness Manager

Job Description

The Thoreau Club is actively seeking a Group Exercise Manager who is directly responsible for overseeing the group exercise program, instructors, and administration. The Group Exercise Manager also teaches and coaches classes regularly on the schedule. This manager balances the ability to build a program with the natural skill of engagement. This management role requires 20 to 25 hours per week. The ideal candidate has five years of group exercise instruction experience.

Successful candidates balance taking direction with initiating plans. These positions are supported by a skilled and veteran management team. Learning is a constant in the Health and Sports Club environment. The ability to constantly problem-solve and adjust to a people-centered community is a priority. Being adept at building trust and relationships with varying departments is fundamental to success in both positions.
